So that's it....we've closed

After a busy trading day on Sunday we finally closed up shop at around 6pm on Sunday evening.  Our fantastic team of Jackie, Rob, Dani, Tamar, Emily, Louise and Adam then went into overdrive to pack up the pub ready for the planned changes.  If it wasn't nailed down then it was wrapped, boxed, or stored.
Our building team arrived promptly on site at 8am the following morning and by the middle of the afternoon today the Bear transformation was starting to take shape.  

So far, everything is going to plan (trying not to put a jinx on anything!

Spring has arrived at the Bear Inn Beyton




Hannah and Garry Clark are pleased to announce new spring opening times at the Bear Inn. We are extending the food service times and bar opening times to reflect the new season.

Along with the new extended opening times, a new spring menu has been introduced. With locally sourced ingredients wherever possible, the new menu features lighter dishes with a few hearty comfort-food meals of the winter menu. Favourites such as Gunner’s Daughter Sausages and The Cannon Bear Camembert are still on the menu and are joined by new spring dishes like Roasted Breast of Pigeon and Roasted Rump of Spring Lamb.

Please bear this in mind if you are planning on eating in our restaurant whilst the matches are being played as this may impact on your dining experience!

Valentine's Day at The Bear Inn

We are now taking bookings for Valentine's Day.

On Friday the 12th and Saturday the 13th Feb - from 6pm to 9pm, enjoy Rob's Valentine's menu - Three courses for just £48 per couple!

Enjoy a romantic evening with your partner with starters featuring Grilled mackerel served with a fennel and pomegranate salad. 

Dine on one of our mains including Pan roasted guinea fowl served with creamed savoy cabbage, french beans and sweet potato fondant served with a red wine jus or Wild mushroom risotto served with Parmesan, white truffle and chives.
